Globalisation: Is it in Reverse?

I appeared this week on TRT World’s Roundtable to discuss the challenges to globalisation and to plug my book Global Poverty, Injustice, and Resistance. In the face of resurgent populism, pandemic disease like Coronavirus, and climate change globalisation appears to be faltering. However, it is not going to go away. There is no retreat back into a mythical autarkic past. The option is to reform globalisation so that it is more robust and egalitarian or to wait for someone else to do it in a more extreme manner.
